Well....we can also find people saying that they can perfectly speak and write English.....and then the same people say something like "in grade of", which is a language abomination since the correct form for "essere in grado di" is "to be able to" or simply "can".....
The fact that you know English perfectly (or PERFECTLY, as you like) is great.
But your skill doesn't allow you to put the blame on those who are thought to have been studying it for years.... I mean, every single individual is different from the other, you should know it cause it's obvious, and there are teenagers who aren't able to deal with languages, especially the youngest ones...
I help a girl during my free afternoons, and she's been studying it for 4 years (she's 17). She can't translate the word "tie" "father" or others, but she is NOT stupid; she's just had bad teachers, in fact she's got REAL scientific skills (this can make u understand that you can't base your opinion on your experience cause every person is a different world) ...
So you can't say "those who's been studying english for more than "tot" years must be able to watch an english film with or without subtitles, because I do and I did it on my own, hei "
And if you didn't mean that, well, check your answer cause this is what I read.
Finally, I tell you again that this 3d has been created to help those who could probably have problems with English, and not to demolish their situation by saying "my God, wtf I'm reading" because if you're so sensitive there's a red X on the right of your screen.
