Oltre l’orizzonte del luogo in cui abbiamo vissuto da giovani,
in un mondo di magneti e miracoli,
i nostri pensieri vagavano costantemente e senza confini,
il suono della campana della discordia era iniziato

Per la Lunga Strada e giù dal Ponte
s'incontreranno ancora vicino al Taglio?

C’era una banda logora che seguiva i nostri passi
correndo prima che il tempo portasse via i nostri sogni
lasciando la miriade di piccole creature a cercare di incatenarci a terra
ad una vita consumata da lento decadimento.

L'erba era più verde,
la luce era più brillante,
circondati di amici
le notti di meraviglie.

Cercando oltre le braci di ponti lucenti dietro di noi
sino a uno sguardo di come fosse verde sull’altra sponda,
passi fatti in avanti ma camminando nel sonno di nuovo indietro,
trascinati dalla forza d'una marea interiore.

A più grande altezza con bandiere spiegate
abbiamo raggiunto le gelide cime di quel mondo sognato.

Per sempre oppressi da desiderio e ambizione
