Stay away from French, it's surely worse than English; every Italian willing to learn French is used to think that it's an easy language, being so similar to Italian. In fact, it's a world apart, akin to Italian only in that it's full of irregular verbs and tricky grammar rules. Be advised.

French, I love this language but I sometimes hate the "r" because I find it hard to pronounce;
I swear, everytime I had to read or study something in French, when it was night and my study day was finished, my throat hurt a lot. Anyways, why don't you open a Latin thread? I'd like to read it, even if I'm bad at it!
Uh, I agree with Lucien, it's like with Spanish.
Everybody thinks it's easy just 'cause there are a lot of similar words but I can say there are faux amis everywhere and why don't we talk about the subjunctive?
I always freak out trying to remember every single freaking rule.
