I don't care if my english sounds creepy, at this time. Well, I'd like to be more constant, but I think that my english has improved a lot and I feel more capable to understand dialogues in tv shows and songs.
And I absolutely prefer British accent :050:
(C'ho provato ¬¬ :087: qualcuno che mi corregge? )

So can I watch only english programm? I saw "Little Britain" on Mtv one time(una volta..immagino non si dica così), I didn't like it very much, I don't understand english humorism
I usually watch american shows in original language. :D
I was saying that you shouldn't care if you don't understand the dialogues without subtitles. You don't understand because of their pronunciation.

You're surely better than me, dear :D
However, the british accent is better than the american one... but american shows are better than english one :lolll:

I've never heard that expression, or at least not in the sense you're writing about.
You should ask your english teacher, or someone here on the Net who is likely to have heard that.^^

Grì, surfing on the net I found out this link :
over-use - traduzione in italiano - Dizionario bab.la
in which you can see some translations of the verb "to use"...
As you can read, the expression you were writing about si mostly translated as "to make use", instead of just "use"....
Where did you hear that?
'cause it could be a familiar structure.

Oh, I didn't look for the expression, but just the verb!
Anyway, she found her answer. :lolll:
Can I ask you, Grì, if you took the B1 exam?
I read some months ago that you were about to take an exam... or maybe you were writing about the french one?
-
thhaaank you, dear :lolll:
Rose, I don't remember, but I was probably talking about the Delf. Anyhow, I've achieved a C1 level with a British Council\University course, and I took my Uni exam, but I've never taken an "official" one (ie FCE, CAE...). I'm afraid that all this studying's gonna be kind of pointless, without any certification -.-'

Oh... I asked you that 'cause in future my bestfriend and I would like to take the C1 exam, which is the CAE.
We took the B2 during the fourth year of high school, the FCE as you would know, and it could be really useful for us to "complete" the English certifications, not only for work reasons but also for a personal satisfaction!
Well, I think that (as for the work field), the certifications are really really useful... I can't understand why they made you achieve such great a level (it could be called the last one, except for the CPE, and it's a high level, for real) without any piece of paper to prove that.:|

My English teacher said that the my KET certification is useless :|

I only wanted to do it 'cause ... i thought " It could be cool and I can use it in the future".
In a personal test that our English teacher gave we the first day of school I write "I did KET and DELF " because I was writing about myself and I didn't know what to write -.-
The day after :
(The teacher)
Guys.Think.Are the certification usefull ?
(We) Yeeeeessss.
(teacher) Uhm.....
(someone) Nooooo
*teacher smile*
(All the people that didn't do Ket or Delf or another certification) It isn't usefull.
I asked why.
Teacher said : " You can only use it for two years, then,it useless AND I will not do a good note to a person that did KET only because he\she did it.
-.-"
I only did it 'cause i wanted to use it in the future.
I don't fell superior to anyone else that didn't do KET.
God help me to get well with her.

Erion, I've got a bad personality but above all, I'm a fussy person -.-
I always LOVE finding mistake in the others' writings and make them notice it.
Hate me:lolll:
Then, I've to say that you're really good with english, believe me:o
Do you like it? I LOVE it:050:
I'd like to move to the Usa one year, but it's still a dream :087::lol:
And, as for the certifications fact, if you are interested in studying foreing languages, they're really important, trust me, 'cause when you'll be at the high school or college, you'll need it to prove you level.
And, in the world of work, they're awesome to show, 'cause often there is a level of language required.
And, if you've taken the KET with the Cambridge University, they DON'T last 2 years -.- But until you die.:lolll:

Sure. Just 'cause it's not a present simple form of the verb, but an imperative one.

But I don't:|
