Jingle Bells
Nonostante sia diventata la canzone natalizia più famosa del mondo, Jingle Bells non è stata originariamente concepita per il Natale.
Il fraintendimento è probablmente dovuto all'associazione tra la slitta con i campanellini e Babbo Natale, ma leggendo il testo completo, si capisce chiaramente che la canzone invita semplicemente ad un divertimento invernale, ma non c'è una parola che sia esplicitamente riferita al natale:
