1)da comoda interfaccia grafica Disk Manager
però per installarlo (visto che quella guida è vecchia) usa synaptic cercando il pacchetto o da terminale: sudo apt-get install disk-manager
una volta installato lo trovi in Sistema-Amministrazione
(effettivamente questo programma è comodo e non capisco perchè non lo installino di default, forse per evitare che gli utenti facciano danni :roll:)

E: Impossibile aprire il file di lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13 Permesso negato)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?

questo errore appare quando hai aperto synaptic e cerchi di installare qualcosa usando apt da terminale
chiudi synaptic, dai il comando da terminale e vedrai che funziona!

per l'altro un attimo che devo cercare

non funzionava cmq...ho risolto installando da synaptic.
Comuque finora ubuntu mi ha dato più problemi dei benefici che mi ha dato...:roll:

qui la cosa penso si faccia seria...
quando tento di aprire synaptic mi apre questa finestra,e lo stesso messaggio me lo da se provo a installare da terminale...ke succede??:cry:
da quel ke o capito non apre più i file deb...quindi?

probabilmente in Sorgenti software hai modificato qualcosa inserendo dei sorgenti non per la 8.10

prova a dare da terminale: sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list e postare qui il risultato.

(da terminale da l'errore con le stesse identiche parole, o dice altro?)

ho risolto somplicemente leggendo,xke tutto parlava di ubuntu intrepid e l'ultima riga del feisty,mi è bastato eliminarla e ho risolto.
tutto xke ho provato a seguire una guida per installare compiz fusion senza vedere ke non era x intrepid....sono un pirla...scusa il disturbo.

compiz fusion è già presente nei repository, lo installi da synaptic.

comunque, non seguire guide strane, usa sempre il wiki Documentazione - Wiki di ubuntu-it che c'è tutto, oppure chiedi!
